A SYMBIOSE OF JAZZ AND BREAKING.
INTHEENDSHITSALLTHESAME is a live-performance between 3 breakers from ‘The Ruggeds’ and 4 jazz-heads called ‘RADIOHOP’. This cast is able to make every show unique with their skill of improvising. While the music modulates between different time signatures, the dancers are going from 4 into 3 bar counts and create surprising interactions on the spot. It’s a piece every musician or dancer should see and the crowd is asked to participate in.

This collaboration was made to go out of the comfort zone. RADIOHOP, 4 headed jazz-band from Amsterdam, have been inevitable in the Netherlands and caught The Ruggeds attention with their appearance at Super Sonic Jazz festival and Steppin’ Into Tomorrow. They play Jazz but it’s also broken and have this locked in groove like House usually has.
When it comes to the stage the band and breakers both challenge each other to be in the moment. There’s a script and there’s structure, but that’s more just a reference.

Festival season
Beginning of 2025 ‘INTHEENDSHITSALLTHESAME’ was on the tour with Jams & Gems festival. Together with various acts/artists such as Let It Happen, Tallulah Rose, Sydney Lowell, Zero Dance Theatre and Eindhoven Ballroom.
